Our Work

Education First Cambodia empowers highly talented female university students from among Cambodia’s poorest families. We do this through two programs:

Our Women Scholars Program provides extremely smart, impoverished students with both the opportunity to get a university degree and the skills they need to succeed after university. We do this by providing them with computers, computer classes, daily English lessons, leadership and critical thinking training, a dormitory and leadership center, and additional classes to ensure their success.

Our Junior Scholars Program helps exceptional high school students who would otherwise never make it to university reach their goal of higher education and gives them the chance of receiving additional support as a Woman Scholar.
