After two years of the pandemic, during which the EFC students' university operated online and many of the students lived in the provinces with their parents, by January 2022 the covid situation in Cambodia had improved enough for in-person learning to resume and for an EFC field trip to be possible. Rather than an educational trip to Angkor Wat, it was decided that what the EFC students really needed was some fun, relaxation, and bonding time. An overnight trip to Kampot brought everyone together and was enjoyed by all.
