Education First Cambodia was founded by Annette Jensen and Neil Weinstein, a couple that has lived and worked in Cambodia for over five years. Annette was previously the executive director of a 100-child residential center that gave new lives to Cambodian children who had been garbage scavengers at the local dump, and Neil worked for a U.S. government-funded project to improve Cambodia’s legal system and human rights. In 2012, Neil and Annette, together with friends, funded the construction of a much-needed three-room primary school in a remote area of Prey Veng province, Cambodia.
